Robert Bundy

rBundy.jpgRobert Bundy has lived most of his life in Los Angeles and Chicago, where he first began to write about himself in the third person. Rob sometimes wonders aloud whether people realize how difficult it is to write intelligently about issues related to the home, while simultaneously sneaking bad puns and obscure pop culture references past his editors.

Rob has more than 20 years of experience involving nearly every aspect of home remodeling, with the exception of major electrical repairs, which frighten and unnerve him.

He has served as Associate Editor for the internationally acclaimed GUM Magazine, interviewing such disparate artistic luminaries as novelist Ray Bradbury, composer Steve Reich, funnyman Fred Willard, and the great Bavaglio, founder of the Pfannkuchenhaus School of Art. In addition, he contributed a wide variety of satiric feature articles, short fiction, editorials on pop culture, and a series of tortured emails detailing the reasons why he would fail to meet his deadlines.

He has also written and performed for Chicago's famed Second City, and written for E! Entertainment Television, RES Magazine, Lemon Magazine, and a gaggle of graphic design firms and ad agencies. In years past, he received the award for Best New Screenplay at the Austin Heart of Film Festival, and the Chicago International Film Festival. His play "Good Day" premiered at Los Angeles Ventura Court Theater in 2002.

When he is not busy avoiding writing, he enjoys world travel, playing music, reading, and yelling at cable television news shows. Mr. Bundy lives with his adorable and patient wife Amber, and two obstinate and willful Pugs.
